Client setup video
We were recently asked by a client & partner to set up a second account for a business they recommended us to and we thought we’d video the process, so we took an hour out of the office to have some uninterrupted time to make the application. Here’s the process compressed into five minutes: There…

Why “Comment Feeds” is a really popular feature.
In most CRM applications there’s normally some really useful functionality that allows you to record your ongoing interaction with clients. Same goes for many other applications such as Customer Support Systems, and Clinical Records Systems in hospitals that build up data over time. CRM is already good at doing just this for customer facing “front…

Forms in agileBase
A new version of agileBase released today includes a clean, simple interface for editing forms. Even when your data comes from many different places, the form interface brings everything together into one screen to allow quick overviews and editing. This development was kindly sponsored by our client and partner Think Drinks and leapfrogs the platform…

Strangely beautiful logs

Every agileBase field now has an icon beside it that links to this comments function. The latest entry in the…

What’s new – less features?!
We’ve got lots of plans for facilities to add to agileBase – things our clients have asked us for, things that Lean theories promote and just great ideas we’ve dreamed up. However, we never wanted agileBase to become a dumping ground for features in the way so much hard to use software is, rather it’s…

Timeline Information System
A new plugin application is available for agileBase – the Timeline Information System. The aim is to allow evidence based problem solving in complex environments. For a business view of the issue, check out this post, or for a more technical discussion read on. http://leanitforsmes.wordpress.com/2011/08/31/evidence-based-problem-solving-in-a-complex-environment/ Often, there is much data available in any database system,…
