Viewing a per-record audit trail

Being able to view a history of all changes to a record, from within that record, has been on our radar for a while.

Administrators have always had the ability to download a complete log of all changes that have occurred in the system but sometimes you want a quicker way to see the what, when and who of data changes.

There’s now a ‘history’ link at the bottom left of the screen when editing records. Moving the mouse to that area will show it and clicking it will load the history – see the example below.

We expect this will prove useful to lots of people, not just those who work in regulated environments. Please try it out and let us know if there are any tweaks you’d like to see.
