I always have a problem when writing about new features and news for Agilebase – there’s always something exciting on the horizon or in progress, it’s easy to think “I’ll just wait until we’ve done that, then we can tell everyone about it”. However I think we’ve had enough good things since last time that it’s worth a quick message. Rest assured there’s lots more coming up too.
But first, there are a couple of ‘non-functional’ things i.e. bits of news.
Pen-test
Pen-testing by CREST accredited Bristol-based data security company OnSecurity has recently helped us further secure the platform. A few risks were identified (none critical), which have all now been mitigated and resolved – re-testing shows none of them remain. If you’d like to read the full report, please contact us.

AI Meetups
The Bristol AI community is thriving, including TechSpark’s Bristol & Bath AI meetup, which we sponsor. If you’d like to be a part of it, whether to come along, demo or speak, please let us know.
We continue to add AI into Agilebase, customers have recently come up with some exciting ideas, plus we’re also working on how AI can help make large and complex installations more comprehensible to new developers.

Now onto what’s new in the Agilebase platform itself
Audit Trails
All customers now have visibility of their audit trails. That’s the lists of who’s logged in and from where, what data’s been updated and by whom, what structure changes have been made etc.
It was always the case that people could download these to spreadsheet, but that was firstly a bit cumbersome and secondly limited to the amount of data a spreadsheet could handle.
Further details about this feature can be seen in the documentation.
Posting JSON data into Agilebase
Requested by many developers, this allows bulk importing of data into Agilebase using the API. If you have thousands of items of data, or more, to import in one go, you can now send a single request, containing a JSON array of records, rather than an individual HTTP request for every record to add or update.
